Over the course of 15 years, Raquel has been a member and subsequent conductor for the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus.

Performance Projects: 

 DIN Ensemble 

As a member DIN Ensemble, Raquel works with littlebits synth modules in live performance with an ensemble comprised of motion-sensors, electronically-treated violin, viola, and saxophone, well as laptops, electric bass, and voice with effects pedals . She uses Audio Hijack to process live sound as well as manipulate digital or computer-generated sound. Raquel also has experience using Max MSP, Processing, and Pure Data.


As a founding member of the Moving Orchestra, Raquel wears many hats a conductor, pianist, vocalist for chamber works and improvisation. She incorporates electronics and processing into performances.
